How to Measure Your Dog’s Paw

Step	Instruction	Details
1	Prepare the Tools	Keep a blank paper, pen, ruler or measuring tape ready. Make sure your dog is standing naturally.
2	Place Paw on Paper	Place your dog’s paw on a blank piece of paper on a hard, flat surface.
3	Mark the Paw Width	Mark both sides of the widest part of the paw from left to right.
4	Mark the Paw Length	Mark from the front of the longest nail or toe to the back of the paw pad.
5	Measure the Distance	Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the distance between the marked lines and choose the closest size from the chart.
6	Measure All 4 Paws	Front and back paws can differ in size. Use the largest paw measurement to choose the boot size.
